Built ca. 1879 of native brick. Lewis ran a livery stable in Morrison.
In the later decades of the 20th century, this location was home to Western Trail Antiques, one of several Morrison antique stores. Also the home of long-time resident and business owner Gretchen Kerr.
In 2024, a proposal for a 21-room hotel at this address was reviewed by the Planning Commission, which unanimously recommended denial. The design was later modified and approved by the Town Board. The sacrifice of this historic home will be an unfortunate episode for the historic Morrison downtown.
