Built ca. 1872 Maggie carried mail on horseback from Morrison into the surrounding mountains and drove the stagecoach from Morrison to Conifer. See Early History of the Turkey Creek Mail Route. Private residence.
This house was highly modified in 1984 when they “popped” up and added the back part of the house. The original house was kept as the main part (front), and the shed roofed part closest to the street was enclosed.
