115 Stone Street
#27 on walking tour
Built in 1873 by George P. Morrison, who died here in 1895. The John Swansons bought the house and ran it as a hotel called The Cliff House.

The original section was built in 1873. The house also has a wing extending east that was added in 1889. The newer wing is entirely red sandstone, probably from the nearby quarry, except the quoins, which are Morrison buff sandstone. The original section has both colors alternating in smoothly finished blocks (visible at rear side).
