317 Bear Creek Avenue
#25 on Walking Tour
Rebuilt in 1931 (after same fire as above). James Abbo built the first building, which was called Mt. Morrison Garage “Auto, Stage, and Livery.” Morrison Carworks occupied the site.

This brick building replaced the original livery after the 1931 fire. It was damaged in the 1938 flood, when Mt Vernon Creek waters came roaring through the west wall of the building.

For many years, 317 Bear Creek Avenue has been known as Morrison Carworks, with Clint Raymond continuing automotive service at this location, until 2024
