Abbo’s Livery & Carriage House

105 Canon Street
#37 on walking tour

Built ca. 1870. James Abbo and Tom Lewis were partners. Tom Lewis was Abbo’s father-in-law. Now part of the Horton House property (see #39).

As we understand this, the original livery has been gone for some time. In this interpretation and restoration by Lila Horton, about half the original structure remains, with the original carriage house now labeled as the livery and the adjacent shed labeled carriage house.
